Best way to start your day

The picture I took for my first blog post is a few eggs being cooked for breakfast. What is the most important meal of the day? Breakfast…So I took this picture for two reasons. 1. Because I love eggs and they are extremely good for you and 2. Because breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially for your brain. This is usually my daily choice for breakfast, so I thought it would be good to post.

  1. I love eggs for breakfast too. Recently I read that the whole concept of breakfast as the most important meal of the day is actually a myth perpetuated by General Mills and other American breakfast cereal companies. Wonder if that's true. Certainly Americans think it is a key meal, but the same ethos doesn't hold up in other countries.

    1. Yes, Professor Kerner, I have also heard that breakfast being the most important meal of the day is a myth. But in my case, and many other student/athletes having 6 a.m conditioning and then going to classes for the day with out eating anything can be unhealthy and could cause a lack of focus and a lack of energy when it is time for class. That is why I believe breakfast could be viewed as the most important meal of the day as it allows for a way to get your brain to wake up and get ready for the day.
